Topographic (Terrain)
The Topo map shows detailed topographic information including:

The Topographic Base Map is great for reading terrain elevation features and for route planning in both summer & winter.
Summer (Satellite)
The Summer Satellite Base Map provides high-resolution aerial imagery and is helpful for identifying:
Trails
Rock features
Forest density
Glaciers and alpine terrain
Burn zones
Winter
The Winter Base Map is optimized for snow conditions. It highlights terrain features that are particularly useful for:
Backcountry skiing
Avalanche terrain assessment
