Connect your Strava account to Granite to sync past activities and unlock personalized features.

Connect Strava to Granite to sync your past activities and unlock features like personalized Munter Score Predictions, Completed Peaks, and Personal Routes from your tracked adventures.

Linking Strava is free, takes about 30 seconds, and can be done from either the Granite mobile app or the web app at app.getgranite.co.

How do I link my Strava account?

  1. Open the Granite mobile app or sign in to the web app.

  2. Go to your Profile page.

  3. Tap or click Connect Strava.

  4. You'll be redirected to Strava's standard authorization page. Sign in to your Strava account if prompted.

  5. Review the permissions Granite is requesting and tap Authorize.

  6. You'll be redirected back to Granite β€” you should see your Strava account listed as connected on your Profile page.

Strava uses standard OAuth 2.0 to authorize third-party apps. You can read more about how Strava handles third-party connections at strava.com/settings/apps.

What does Granite access?

When you connect Strava, Granite reads:

  • Your activity history (route geometry, distance, elevation, activity type, dates)

  • Basic profile information (display name)

Granite does not post to Strava on your behalf, modify your activities, or access activities you've marked as private or hidden. Your Strava data is used to compute your Munter Score, populate your Completed Peaks, and display Personal Routes from your tracked adventures.

How do I disconnect Strava?

You can disconnect Strava from Granite at any time:

  1. Go to your Profile page in Granite.

  2. Find the Strava connection and tap Disconnect.

You can also revoke Granite's access directly from Strava's side at any time by visiting strava.com/settings/apps and revoking access to Granite.

Troubleshooting

  • My activities aren't showing up. Strava sync can take a few minutes after first connection β€” give it 5–10 minutes and refresh. If activities still don't appear, try disconnecting and reconnecting.

  • I can't authorize Granite. Make sure you're signed in to the correct Strava account in your browser before tapping Connect Strava. If you have multiple Strava accounts, sign out of all of them and sign back in to the one you want to use.

  • A specific activity isn't syncing. Activities marked private on Strava aren't visible to Granite. Check the activity's visibility settings in Strava.
