Overview
Connect Garmin to Granite to sync your past activities and unlock features like personalized Munter Score Predictions, Completed Peaks, and Personal Routes from your tracked adventures.
Linking Garmin is free, takes about 30 seconds, and can be done from either the Granite mobile app or the web app at app.getgranite.co.
How do I link my Garmin account?
Open the Granite mobile app or sign in to the web app.
Go to your Profile page.
Tap or click Connect Garmin.
You'll be redirected to Garmin Connect's standard authorization page. Sign in to your Garmin account if prompted.
Review the permissions Granite is requesting and tap Allow.
You'll be redirected back to Granite β you should see your Garmin account listed as connected on your Profile page.
Garmin Connect uses standard OAuth to authorize third-party apps. You can manage all of your authorized third-party connections at Garmin Connect under Account Information.
What does Granite access?
When you connect Garmin, Granite reads:
Your activity history (route geometry, distance, elevation, activity type, dates)
Basic profile information (display name)
Granite does not post to Garmin on your behalf, modify your activities, or access activities you've marked as private. Your Garmin data is used to compute your Munter Score, populate your Completed Peaks, and display Personal Routes from your tracked adventures.
How do I disconnect Garmin?
You can disconnect Garmin from Granite at any time:
Go to your Profile page in Granite.
Find the Garmin connection and tap Disconnect.
You can also revoke Granite's access directly from Garmin's side at any time through your Garmin Connect account settings.
Troubleshooting
My activities aren't showing up. Garmin sync can take a few minutes after first connection β give it 5β10 minutes and refresh. If activities still don't appear, try disconnecting and reconnecting.
I can't authorize Granite. Make sure you're signed in to the correct Garmin Connect account in your browser before tapping Connect Garmin. If you use multiple Garmin accounts, sign out and back in to the one you want to use.
A specific activity isn't syncing. Activities set to private in Garmin Connect aren't visible to Granite. Check the activity's privacy settings in Garmin Connect.
My new activities aren't appearing automatically. Make sure your Garmin device has synced to Garmin Connect first β Granite reads from Garmin Connect, not directly from the device.
