Completed Peaks

Visualize the peaks you've summited on the Granite map, computed from your Strava, Garmin, or in-app activity history.

Overview

Completed Peaks gives you a visual record of every peak you've stood on top of, displayed directly on the Granite map. As you tick off summits, your map fills in over time — turning your activity history into a personal map of your accomplishments.

Peaks you've completed appear in green. Peaks you haven't yet completed appear in blue.

How does it work?

Granite checks your activity history for summits and updates your map automatically. Completed Peaks data is computed from:

  • Activities synced from your Strava account

  • Activities synced from your Garmin account

  • Routes recorded directly inside the Granite app

When one of your tracked activities passes over a known peak, that peak is marked as completed and turns green on your map. No manual tagging needed.

How do I enable Completed Peaks?

  1. Open the Map Layers Menu by tapping the layers icon.

  2. Scroll down to Advanced Tools.

  3. Toggle Peaks Completed.

  4. Make sure you've connected your Strava or Garmin account in your profile settings, or have recorded activities inside the Granite app.

For more on Advanced Tools, see Maps: Advanced Tools. For details on recording inside the app, see Recording a route inside Granite.

Reading the map

  • Green — peaks you've completed.

  • Blue — peaks you haven't completed yet.

How can Completed Peaks help me?

  • Track your tick list — see your completed summits at a glance.

  • Find your next objective — quickly spot the blue peaks nearby that you haven't been up yet.

  • Reflect on your year — turn your adventures into a visual map of where you've been.

  • Share your story — show friends, partners, or clients the peaks you've ticked off.

If a peak you've summited isn't showing as completed, double-check that the relevant activity is synced from Strava or Garmin, or recorded inside Granite. If something still looks off, drop us a line — we're happy to help take a look.
